In all cases, IdentifyUS will notify you if your name or email address is shared with one of our affiliated partners.

Remember that e-mail messages, while in transit, can be viewed by other Internet users. If you have individualized information to communicate, please use the appropriate secure on-line form. 

As explained below (see #2), we may also collect and log the IP address (and identification number associated with your computer) when you visit our web site.

To further protect your information, we do not share your personal financial or credit card information. All such financial transactions are performed via an independent third-party provider (such as PayPal), and you are subject to the policies of each such provider we use.

To remain independent, we do not offer endorsements of third party pest control products or services. IdentifyUS may offer specific products for resale that help and assist us in the identification process or that assist you in the collection and forwarding of physical samples/specimens to IdentifyUS. 

4. Privacy of submitted information

IdentifyUS strives to ensure that any personal information that you provide to us via this Site will remain as secure as possible.  Accordingly, we use all reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access by use of a secure firewall and a security infrastructure to protect the integrity and privacy of such personal information. As an additional security measure, your personal information is also encrypted during transmission by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption software. Encryption is a common method used to transmit sensitive data across the Internet. Encryption temporarily makes the text unreadable during the time it is being transmitted over the Internet. Please note, that for encryption to work, your browser must support at least this level of compatibility. Not all versions of all browsers have 128-bit encryption capability; you will have to download the upgrade for that level of encryption.

This online Privacy Policy applies only to the IdentifyUS Site. The IdentifyUS Site contains links to other sites. Be aware that this online policy does not apply to any sites beyond our own domain.
